Had a coffee then went out for a 5 and a bit mile run in the dark

Ran up king Street which was extremely quiet with just a few cars eventually went running along the beach with the tide being in you could hear the waves bashing against the wall whilst looking out at the ship lights and the renewable energy windmills seeing their lights flashing at the top it was just wonderful and only me running away what an experience.

It's about the only thing I like about dark mornings .

Starts to get slowly lighter by the day now .
There's just something about running in the dark when the city starts to come alive .

Any experiences that fellow posters enjoy that enriches their day that yous would like to tell us about.?

I like to walk in the woods at dawn and in the twilight Buc. I mark the changing foliage of the seasons with delight as I pass unseen under the canopies capped with starlight.

Passing beyond the glades I come to a hidden stream where my feet and that of my trusty companion are the only ones to tread.

Down through the foaming water we reach a field of lonely trees, tall and silent by the banks of the foam, and I can only think that these must have been what the Willow Meads of Tasarinan looked like in the Long Spring of the Elder Days.

I usually go for a run at lunchtime, and depending on the route I take I often see the same people at their kitchen windows or in their front gardens.

I've passed them so many times now that I'll get a wave or a 'hello' or 'well done'

I really enjoy the banter, especially from one lady who lives at the top of a hill and finds it amusing seeing my sweaty self come round the corner, puffed out.
