Faniel is a silly sausage. 🌭
Mark Blyth's words were pretty weak to be honest. He left himself plenty wriggle room. He even rightly speaks of the fiscal challenges that a separate Scotland would have that cannot be wished away. It sounds like this anti-austerity campaigner is just angry at the UK because of the big bad Tories more than anything else, and he's not actually saying a separate Scotland would be better economically than us remaining in the UK. This, again, just seems to be something being pushed only by The National.I'm not surprised, again, to see that it's only The National who are reporting Helm. Did he even say he believes separation? Seems he's just giving us advice on how to go green and help the environment to grow the economy sustainably. I was going to say he'd be welcome in the gardening wing of the SNP, but maybe not since he doesn't even seem to be promoting separation. The National is really scraping the barrel here. I'm surprised they managed to fit these articles in amongst all the Neil Oliver character assassinations. It really is a comic.
