Combi boilers have come a long way since the 80s and the massive amount of breakdowns.
I quite like the Alpha boiler range . I installed one in my new house last year .
Very reliable.plus a 7 year guarantee. As long as a magnaclean is fitted very good for picking up any debris that's going around the system .

Only good thing about Alpha boilers is they’re cheap.

Another tip is to make sure your flue meets regulations.

It's mental the amount of flues that don't meet regulation's.
