As for the live and let live approach, this is fine in theory.. I agree that people should be allowed to do what they want as long as it doesn't harm others.
The problem is that there is a huge effort to normalise this, which does have an affect on others, especially our children. It is actively being promoted as something that people are just born with, despite there being no evidence for this, same as they do with other orientations, where again there is no evidence of being 'born that way' either.
What happens when your child wants to 'transition' because he's heard it's fine and you're given the jail for not letting them? This is where this pish will head.
Dare to go against this (or any of the other letters in LGBT) and you're labelled a bigot with some type of phobia.
'Love is love', 'you are who you are' etc are pointless phrases which people use to back up this stuff, but ignore when it suits them.
It's just a case of going further down the slippery slope, I'm afraid. Expect further degeneracy as time goes on and society becomes more broken. Men being pumped full of drugs and having their bits mutilated to 'change their gender' would have been unthinkable back in the day. My bet's on incestuous relationships being normalised next. I mean, it's not up to us what anyone gets up to in the private life, right?
