I give you the flying pig - Andy Goram.

His reflexes were second to none  I put him ahead of Goram but only just .
Leighton had Miller and McLeish at their best in front of him that made it easier .

Pity the camera doesn't show it too well, but I remember this.  Goram hitting Di Canio with the ball.. hilarious scenes!

Di Canio clearly shat it from Ferguson here.  Ferguson waited for Di Canio for a scrap after the game and the Italian was nowhere to be seen lol.

For the record I played in goals .I was down at Middlesbrough as a young lad back in 73_74

I left after about 6 weeks because I was homesick when I got home my dad went ape at me .

Week later one of the staff came up to Aberdeen to get me back again they thought I had a future in the game but I refused as I was having a great time wine woman and song .

It wasn't until 5 years later I made a comeback in Sunday league then progressed from there to Junior and Highland league.

Packed it in at 29 to do running . I regret packing it in too early.

So I do have an insight into goalkeepers. But not much else on the football pitch to be fair .
