Celtic’s PLC model and leadership at Exec level has been dismantling the very soul of the club since we lost in Seville.

What has gone on in terms of corporate governance is an absolute scandal. The pay to Peter Paidwell is outrageous and there is no PLC in the world with a turnover like Celtic’s where the Chief Exec makes these sums.

A PLC with a turnover of £100m should be paying a Chief Exec no more than £300k. And £100m and the number of employees makes it too small to be a PLC.

These board members have plundered the place and gotten away with it. They don’t make even a pretence of running the organisation properly. Something which summed it up to me this week was when I heard Lawwell, Desmond and Lennon were having calls on Zoom. Phucking Zoom!
