I tend to agree with you, VOR.

Whilst talking politics isn't to everyone's taste, there's nothing to stop them reclaiming the conversation, scrolling by the topics and replying to something else, or starting their own topic completely.

I'd also add that absolutely everyone on here gets involved in the political stuff to a degree.
