1) poor pensioner was tongue and cheek . I wasn't serious

Buying 2 cars isn't a big deal as it's up to the individual what he or she wants to spend their hard earned on.

2) pensioner isn't Gas Safe I am and have been for decades no one breaking the rules .
As long as I hang the boiler do the gas pipe and flue  he connects the radiators  these are water pipes not gas pipes .and it's me that fills in the paperwork for the boiler warranty I also do the analyser readings .

3) YES I've paid a huge amount in taxes .

4) I don't moan about my pension it's a nice we earner

5) I did retire early that's a fact and it's been good . I do go on holidays to my villa in Spain for 2 or 3 months usually from early April .to June .
