I just don’t see the point in debating it with you, you’ll slate whichever decision is made, if she refuses and carries on as we are and businesses close you’ll be the first to say she’s responsible for those people losing their jobs and if she locks down to get the furlough you’ll be saying she’s locked down unnecessarily for the sake of money.

That’s the two choices she will probably face, I doubt either outcome will meet your approval.

I thought people’s jobs were the most important thing to you? You certainly spent long enough moaning about how many would be lost by closing the pubs, at least with a full lock down people’s jobs are safe for another month?

Eh? They are. I would open up everything. Protect and shield the people at high risk but let the rest of us get on with our lives.

But that’s not an option realistically, no political leader will do that for fear of the fallout. The two options now are carry on as we are and possibly have pubs and other businesses closing or lockdown and guarantee jobs for another 4 weeks, granted it’s not a long time but it’s something. I’m sure along with vor you’ll **** about either though.
