I can't see the police breaking up Christmas dinners and I'd be interested to hear why he thinks it could happen.  I'd have to hear this in context of the rest of the interview before commenting meaningfully.

The 'hate crime' and language policing stuff is a bigger threat IMO.

I've always considered Oliver to be a deeply ethical man, however if it transpires that he is making things up then I'll happily change my profile picture.

It’s all about the current bill by Humza useless when he talks about prosecuting people for dinner party conversations.
Peter gets triggered by Neil on a daily basis.

Having now watched the full interview and done some googling, it appears that Neil Oliver is entirely correct.

From the Police Commissioner himself:
'Mr Jamieson told The Telegraph: 'If we think there's large groups of people gathering where they shouldn't be, then police will have to intervene. If, again, there's flagrant breaking of the rules, then the police would have to enforce.'
'It's not the police's job to stop people enjoying their Christmas. However, we are there to enforce the rules that the Government makes, and if the Government makes those rules then the Government has to explain that to the public.'

Neil is right to highlight this IMO.

I'm actually embarrassed that for a slight moment I doubted Oliver's integrity.  Shame on me and many thanks for setting my mind at ease VOR.  I really should have known, as as soon as I looked at the selectively edited Bella tweet the replies were all just personal attacks, especially about his appearance.  Many of those attacking his appearance don't exactly appear to be Brad Pitt doppelgangers themselves.

The source for the edited video is a dead giveaway.
Only a real mug would fall for it.
