Well, as I explained previously. We don’t know that black people commit more crimes. We do know that if you are black you are more likely to be suspected of a crime, more likely to be prosecuted, more likely to be convicted and more likely to receive a tough sentence.

Bit of a vicious circle there, if they commit more crime then it'd be natural for them to be suspected of more crime.

When I was in my teens walking about town with a group of mates, you'd be suspected more of certain crimes because your demographic would commit more of certain crimes.

Not once did I call a shopkeeper teenophobic for keeping an eye or us, nor did I loot, burn, destroy or injure because we were 'persecuted'.  I can categorically say that those shopkeepers were not teenist for watching us.

Do you honestly think Blacks receive tougher sentences than other groups for the same crimes?
