Yes I have. This is a naval engagement though.

Royal Navy have stated and confirmed today that they will not act on this issue in Scottish waters without being asked to by the Chief Constable of Police Scotland, in line with the law.

So it’s England v France. Wales, Scotland and NI not involved.

Humza Yousef confirms there will no deployment of Royal Navy in Scottish waters.


“GUNBOAT diplomacy will not be welcome in Scottish waters,” the Justice Secretary has said after the UK put the Royal Navy on standby in case of a No-Deal Brexit.

Humza Yousaf tweeted this morning that the UK Government had confirmed with him that the navy won’t be deployed unless the chief constable requests so.

Scotland has sovereignty over its waters, as a matter of law and has much more sea territory that England does. Yet Scotland was not allowed to be represented or involved in Brexit negotiations on fishing.

Here’s the law.



So, no help for England from Scotland should they get embroiled in any nonsense with the French.
