Who has a favourite English club?
I've never really felt the urge to have one.. until now.
Despite the 'blues brothers' Rangers/Chelsea/Linfield fanzine that used to be on the go, the connection never really captured my imagination.
I have to say that I'm becoming a bit of a Millwall man, they are an unmanufactured proper club, with authentic, old school fans. I'm finding myself becoming more and more compelled to look up their scores and take an interest in their goings on. One of my favourite posters is LionMo and this also helps.
I also have a soft spot for Birmingham City, due to my friend JTC. They are a refuge of traditional, indigenous people in a city which has been so enriched and strengthened by diversity. It's actually one of the strongest in the UK in this respect, to the extent that it's residents all feel as one, and there's hardly any crime. A shining example to us all.
Who else has an English club?
Fantastic post mate. You are certainly choosing the correct English team to follow. Founded by Scots, wear dark blue as Scotland does, proper fans that look after their own, love GB and our history. A proper football club with good, honest fans that would not turn against one of their own. The wife and I get treated so well when we go to the games. 🦁🇬🇧
