When I used to do the council grant central heating for many years I'd see people living in houses or indeed upper flats
As they got older they struggled getting up the stars .
Many had to get electric chair lifts to take them up .

After witnessing how their lifestyles were affected I've always said to my wife we need to buy a bungalow to make sure we can live as a normal life as possible in old age .

What would you lads do to prepare for older age living or will yous just struggle on the best you can .

Yo Buc,

To be honest, my main plan would be just to keep myself fit and hopefully always be able to tackle the stairs.  I've been doing a wee bit of running lately and I do some weights in the house when I can be bothered.  When I get the time, I do a bit of outdoor walking and I hope to do this all my days.

Do you find any difficulty with stairs these days?
