You and your families
« on: August 25, 2020, 07:35:58 am »
Diet .

My family have a good diet but I admit to eating too much processed foot like frozen chips and vegan pizza always best to make your own .
Drink far too much coffee in the mornings.

Mind you growing up as a kid it was fish n chips or pie n chips from the travelling chipper bus in Northfield during the 60s

We cook mostly from fresh nowadays but that is really to suit my wife’s near keto diet. We eat fat. I am making a fry up right now. The kids and I eat carbs such as rice, pasta and chips/potatoes but my wife doesn’t. We are all a health weight.

We use the local butchers, greengrocers and fishmongers. Maybe costs a wee bit more but the quality is better and you are supporting local business.
I learned to cook a fair bit when I was furloughed as my missus was working as she is a key worker. Fair enjoyed it. Much better for you cooking from fresh produce.

Aye supporting local businesses is the way to go.
I think that's good that you do that.

I like cooking to LionMo. I am quite happy in the kitchen with a programme on the laptop.
