Third Lanark

Anyone ever been to Cathkin Park for a wander?  I've always meant to go.

I remember many years ago there was an exhibition on them at the Mitchell Library.  It was such a long time ago than I can hardly remember what was there.

Seems that their downfall was caused by an unsuccessful period and low attendances followed by financial squabbling between those running the club as well as the players.  Power struggles and the likes, very sad indeed.



I'm so glad that Rangers didn't go to the wall like the HiHi did.  I'd be gutted if my club ever died.  148 years and counting!

No I have never been there.
My club nearly died twice and what an effort the fans made so it didn't. I hate to think the amount of money the wife snd I donated to help them. Hopefully will never be in the same position again

Had to ve done mate. We had to do our bit to help the club survive.
Thankfully both times it was saved. It would have been devastating if it hadn't

Shame when clubs die fans suffer and that was a bad day for Third Lanark .
