1.4bn for ‘the best bridge in the wurruld’ that will never close, has been closed on numerous occasions.
The Forth Road Bridge never closed due to ice falling.

The Forth Road Bridge was closed every time it was windy!
Pity that's not what he said.

Bucs made an ãrse of it again.
Peters made a cōck of himself trying to back up Buc.
Well matched.

Other bridge closures.
M48 Severn bridge
A14 Orwell bridge
A55 Britannia Bridge
Number bridge closed for the 2nd time in history
QE2 bridge at Dartford Crossing
And the Orestand bridge connecting Copenhagen to Malmö

All during 2020 .!!!!

Where are these bridges in Scotland?

labour knew the problems with the bridge when in power but failed to fix it .

But the bridge is a massive engineering masterpiece on budget unlike the HS2 with no advantage to the people of Scotland and billions over budget which we will pay about 10% of this waste of money .

What do you know about engineering?

How much are we paying for HS2?

This’ll be good.

No problem thanks for asking .

You know where they are .
It's not just a problem in Scotland it's common elsewhere.
I'm sure the engineer's will fix this minor problem.

How many people in Scotland does it effect if those bridges are closed?

Is the snp the most incompetent party ever ?

That statement says you know nothing about tenders Deemo .

There wasn't a steel company in the UK big enough to handle that contract someone shut them all down .
There was some Scottish steel used to build that bridge.
As regarding tenders the engineer's decide what steel NEEDS to be used for that structure not the Scottish government do you not know that .
no where in the UK had that type of steel the engineer's required for the job .

There are different types of steel that are suitable for different jobs.

You spoke / moaned about this year's ago . I thought your post was replied to in full especially about the Chinese steel.

Not one company from the uk tendered for it you do know that right.?

The First Minister replied: “I would certainly be glad to arrange a ministerial meeting. I point out that 118 subcontracts have been awarded to Scottish firms from the total of 155 subcontracts that have been awarded to date. That represents 76 per cent of total subcontracts. We can also consider that 870 of the 1041 supply orders that have been awarded for the principal contract have gone to Scottish companies.

A spokesman for Tata said: “Tata Steel can confirm that they did participate indirectly in the tendering process for the Forth Bridge contract and that their Dalzell works is capable of supplying a significant proportion of the steel required.”

Participated indirectly means didn’t bid.
Next!!!! 😆
