Anyone listen to it. I have for 20 odd years. I don't like all the shows/presenters but there is a lot of good ones now and over the years. As I used to drive so much I listened to it for hous every day, now not so much. I like Brazil, McCoist, Flintoff, Hawksbee and Jacobs, Jim White and Simon Jordan. Not so keen on Durham and Gough though and the adverts are a pain. Used to love the banter between Brazil and Mike Parry. Parry talked some amount of **** but was a good laugh. Wing mirrors on racehorses was a classic.

I mate they are now only on 2 days now.
Personally I have gone right off Scottish football. I was having a pint with my mate last week before the Celtic game. He is an ex season ticket holder and still a big fan of them. He was talking about what team Lennon should play and I had to say to him that I don't know half the players ypu are on about. Go back 5 odd years and I could just about name every clubs 1st eleven in the premiership. Now I don't have a clue. There will be players in the Scotland squad I've never heard off 🤷‍♂️ Its sad 🙁

I'm the opposite, went right off English football over the last 20 years. Too much money, too many unknown foreign players playing ahead of homegrown players, media is shite, sky are shite, transfer deadline day is a circus.
Every year I'm less and less interested in it.

90's English football was so entertaining, now they hype up Man City or Liverpool v Chelsea or Man U, Spurs etc, the game is the biggest pile of shite ever, 0-0 draw and they talk about it like it was a great game.

I went on the same trajectory as you with regard to the English game but have kind of come back to it. I like seeing how the Scottish players are doing and I can appreciate the craft of people like Vardy and Kane.

For a while the hubris of the players and everyone surrounding the EPL was unbearable but I think there’s been a change there. The effect of the money on the personalities at least is wearing off and people have their heads screwed on a bit better.

Overrated.
For every Man City v Man U theirs a Burnley v Norwich.
No better than Dundee v Ayr Utd

As I've gotten older I'm less and less interested in football overall and it gets me thinking, would I even watch football if I didn't support a club.

I think the modern game has put me right off.

I was a football statto as a kid, Scottish, English, Italian, Spanish, German players.
From an entertainment point of view I think football has changed for the worse. Of course it may just be me but football is overly tactical now. Very little individuals who can win a game on their own, players are coached like robots to all do the same thing virtually.

Am I just looking back at the past with rose tinted specs or was there far more talented individuals 30 years ago than there are now? Worldwide I mean.

No, you’re right. I always hated Serie A because it was overly tactical and boring. But football in Scotland and England in the 90s and early 2000s was played at a brilliant intensity.

Players are fitter now but they would struggle to handle teams from that era who played with real passion.

I can totally relate to not enjoying watching football.  I'll watch Rangers games purely because I want them to win, not to enjoy the spectacle or for entertainment.

Used to like Tam Cowan's 'Offside' a few years back.  The Clyde phone in can be a laugh sometimes too, but that's pretty much it for me i'm afraid.

I can’t understand the load of people from up here who travel to England and watch whatever team and claim their love for them.

Utterly weird

Why Coyne ? People have many different legit reasons for following, going to see and loving their clubs be it in Scotland, England or any other country.

Just my opinion, know people who claim to be massive Man Utd fans, never supported them as kids (Aberdeen and a Dab), go to about 3 games a season tops but get all upset if they concede in a live game in the pub.

Majority of games that are live are a load of shite ana, then the same people moan about the standard up here. Not surprised if people travel hundreds of miles to pay to watch teams they never had an allegiance with growing up.

I’d love for the game down south to go pop.
