Sunday
« on: August 30, 2020, 07:54:21 am »
Slept very well last night which is pleasing.

Just making breakfast for everyone at the moment and we will probably jump in the car and go to a play park or something this morning.

After lunch need to cut the grass. Even with the ride on it will take a couple of hours at least today. It’s long because it’s been so wet and this means having to empty it every 5 minutes. Will probably just listen to Off the Ball while doing that.

What’s everyone up to?

Irish.

Have a lovely day in Bangor. If you would like to share any pics of the sights I’m sure we would all enjoy that. I’m away shortly for a kick about with my weans.

Went for a hilly 6 mile forest run with my running mates from the 80s by gosh they are running well even into their 60s .
My legs are in bits that was tough struggled to get from the car to my house .

In recovery mode now and my wife is going to give me a massage she's good at it I must admit.

I had a few civilised pints with a mate to watch the Rangers game yesterday but was home for 9, pretty sober.  Tanned water before bed and helped with baby duties through the night, so don't have a hangover today.. slept reasonably well.

I'm missing Sunday worship at the moment but partly make up for it with the online sermon.

Today will be a relatively lazy day.  I cut the grass yesterday so it's looking good, but might chainsaw some wood for the fire at some point.  Other than that, I've got a couple of letters to type up and send out.

Just about to nip to the shop to buy some bacon for lunch.

If you are going to Morrison's I can highly recommend the vegan bacon it's very tasty you can also go to the plant based section and get sausages and Lorne ( Tesco)sausage it's very good  then grab yourself a tin of beans .well give it a try anyway. ;D

I've already been to the shop and back now, with my bacon roll having been demolished in a matter of seconds.. however I'll remember the Morrisons tip!

Woke up at 4.30am and could get back to sleep. Went back to sleep at 8.30am and got up at 12.30pm, just away to get showered, fed and head for a big shop for going away tomorrow.
