I'm going to be a proud grandad to a Nigerian lad who's truly a lovely soft natured lad .Only one fear is that there's still daft pea brained uneducated racists going about but I will just have to deal with it and support the kid in the proper manner .

I used to say to a friends kid who was mixed race when he would say he was part Jamaican. ‘No you are not. You are fully British ‘ Don’t think you are less British because you are brown ‘It was his grand folk on one side who were Jamaican. He told his grandad said exactly the same to him as I did
