The English seem very taken with her, they seem to like her intergrity, sincerity and the overall personal touch she has. That’s probably why she’s polling at 60% up here, the wee tyrant.

We’re lucky to have her.

I really don't see her as having a personal touch.  From speaking to someone who used to work in statistics from the Scottish Government Executive, she's not a nice person.

She comes across amazingly well in front of the cameras and knows exactly what to say, exactly how to play things to look good compared to her opposition, and exactly how to cultivate and firm up her support base.  Of course some English will like her when they see her speak, but the majority will still think she's a divisive tool who is trying to break up the Nation.  No doubt about it though, she's a very clever, media savvy, shrewd woman.

Given the nature of Nationalism (in any country), it's clear that any leaders for or against it will be marmite figures.  This is true for Sturgeon, and you'll probably find that there are more who blindly agree with her and follow her than there are those who attack her.

I personally know several people who simply won't criticise her or the SNP, no matter what, even if it shows a glaringly obvious inconsistency with their argument.

When you see people fawn over her the way some do, it's no wonder many liken the SNP to a Cult.

Most people in England don’t care either way about Scotland. Or NI. Or even Wales.

Now I'm not allowed to visit my parents but can take them out for a meal. I don't get it at all 🤷‍♂️  The wee tyrant always has to go one step further. She can gtf 🖕

What would you do apart from this constant moaning try and be constructive Deemo .

What would you allow and what numbers would you employ .

Also it's scientists and of course a team of specialists that give Nicola advice .

I would like life to get back to normal. No government can beat this virus, let it run its course.
More people are going to die due to the effects that the governments are putting on us from the virus itself. And I include Boris in that.

Regarding tradesmen going to people's homes who are in isolation especially.
1) the tradesmen going in an urgent circumstance like a boiler breakdown .

2) the customer comes to the door to let the tradesmen in whilst he/she wears a mask .

3) the customer must stay in a separate room whilst the engineer fixes the boiler .

4) once fixed the engineer let's the customer know that the job is done as he leaves the house .

There are no contact and social distancing has to be in force. The people know this before they go in .

But if a family member goes in social distancing will be for the most part will not be enforced.

As the scientists are saying this virus gets transferred more easily with indoor contact .

These measures are in for one reason only and that's to save lives more so with elderly who are mostly on medication for certain illnesses that would put them in massive trouble if they got Covid other that put the hospitals to near breaking point .

we all want life back to normal believe me I'm desperate to get back to what I was doing 6 months ago .

I know what it's like for people with mental illness my daughter has OCD and was bad with it which was very worrying for us we couldn't even visit her during this time it was a huge worry.

Yes mental illness suicides will rise but this will be worldwide cancer deaths will rise too not a good time to be living today it's like one big jail from time to time .

If you're referring to the people of Scotland, NI or Wales then I agree to an extent, but I think it's natural for most people not to really care about those they've never met, no matter where they live.  Let's face it, we care about our families, friends and those we interact with.  I think it's probably the same for the English tbh.

If you're referring to Scotland (Or Wales and NI) staying part of the UK, then the stats have always shown that they want us to remain.

Sorry to hear about your daughter's OCD Buc.  The wife has a friend who has it really bad and she struggles in a lot of ways.  I'm friendly with her husband so I hear the toll it has on her.

How did she cope during lockdown, were there any major hiccups and does she live alone?  I won't be offended if you ignore my questions as I don't want to be pressurising you into giving out sensitive information.

I don't know of a Comrade Hardliner, Pete.

If you'd like me to answer the question then please address me as either 'Hardliner' or 'Brother Hardliner'.

**Hovers over keyboard, itching to post stats if addressed correctly**

Suicidal mate but you'd know about that anyway with your wife's friend .
Aye she lives alone but her Yorkshire terrier in reality saved her life.

She's back to her African boyfriend again so she's picked up a bit now.

As you know anyone suffering from mental illness will always have that battle.
