An incredibly interesting character from history, he ensured religious and civil liberties for all, something which the ousted Jacobites didn't believe in.  He was a moderniser, and the introducer of true parliamentary democracy to this land.

We have him to thank for many of the freedoms we enjoy today and I'm happy to say that I've visited both of what were formerly his residences.. Kensington Palace and Hampton Court.  In fact, William and Mary had it built into what it is today.

Seen a few Murals in Belfast and they all looked as if King Billy had maybe taken up my offer of the bed bath challenge with some of his pals. Wonder what the prize was. Good on him I say
