I agree to an extent. I would support a campaign to nationalise all energy but I don’t support campaigns to eliminate our fuel sources without viable alternatives in place.

Humans burning fossil fuels is literally nature.

There are some causes that are treated more softly than others in terms of reactions to protests, Extinction Rebellion are given special treatment on a regular basis IMO.

Another example was BLM who were blatantly allowed to break lockdown because of the death of an American criminal where it's likely that he died due to the drugs, not because of police.

As for the cause of environmentalism itself, I'm all for it.  I love the mountains, rivers and hills and having lots of fumes going into the air just can't be good IMO.

It annoys me that we can't get a proper debate about it though, with terms such as 'denier' being thrown around.  We should debate every issue that people disagree about, no matter how taboo, including the climate change, marriage redefinition, racial differences and of course the details of the holocaust.

These f@nnies shouldn't be allowed to stop people getting to work.

Of course I do not think that.
I am saying that I love the picture. I think the spitfire is a superb plane.
My old man was in the RAF and took ne to Leuchars airshow every year which I loved. I got to sit in a spitfire.

For me killing in wars is murder .

As their families suffer for the rest of their lives because of a bullet from a gun or from a bomb .

Wars are nothing but pain and sorrow .
What joy is there in killing and nuclear bombs are barbaric..

I find it odd that folk (usually people far too young to remember it) fantasise about that period, I’m sure if you were to ask anyone involved they’d do anything to never have to repeat it again.
