It was good and we were very lucky with the weather again. That's two long weekends I've had in Brighton and I've yet to see a drop of rain. It really is a lovely place and there's so much more to it than the beach front which most people seem to flock to. The amount of bars, cafes and restaurants just a street or two back is unbelievable. The only thing that spoiled it this year was the hotel we unfortunately stayed in. It was £353 for three nights for room only and it wasn't the cleanest. I can't recommend Brighton enough though and it's only 30 minutes on the train from Gatwick Airport. Be warned though, it is not a cheap place to visit.

Tbh it's nowhere near what it's portrayed as. For the supposed gay capital of the UK I never saw a single gay couple, by that I mean the over the top gays that feel the need to tell the world that they are homosexual.

Nice one mate. When we get promoted to the premier league  I will get down there with the missus. Glad you had a good time 👍
The price of the hotel though 🙁 I thought it would be cheaper just now under the circumstances encouraging people to visit. Was in York a few weeks back and paid £190 for 4 nights in a super room in the Travelodge. Don't get what was so super about it though.

Was it £5 or £6 a pint AJ?

If you left the kids at home, you better not tell Ralph.

I paid £5.90 for a pint of Peroni and £7.50 for a pink gin and lemonade in one pub. ☹

A couple of years ago in London I went to an Italian restuarant. I should have known it would be expensive as there was an Aston Martin and a Bentley at the door. £7 for half a Peroni 🙈
