It's hard to disagree with Father Stu's take on the situation.

It is essential that she and her husband exit and soon.

If I was a Yoon though, I’d want them firmly in place as their replacements will be very serious indeed about delivering independence.

I'm caught in two minds as to the best outcome for the Unionist cause.

Sturgeon appears to be a good safety valve for us as she isn't chasing independence properly, but it's her pragmatism and appeal to a whole range of voters that gets her the popularity.  It's hard to see how any new leader could keep happy and appeal to old school nationalists, left wingers and the wokerati like she has done.

Hopefully you become a Yoon soon though.  This phase in your life has gone on long enough surely?

It’s been since 1989 when we did a small amount of Scottish history at school. We learned about Bannockburn and how Scotland won its fight for independence, and this was presented as a great thing.

Then I asked the teacher why we weren’t independent any more then (totally naive) end she got very flustered, defensive and dodged the question.

So I began then to examine the issue and I remain convinced to this day that it would be what is best for us all.

During the 60s and 70s I got told little of Scottish history it was more about English history and the Romans .
I left St Peter's school with next to no knowledge of Scottish history that was embarrassing for me .

History is fascinating IMO.  I love seeing old photos of places and hearing about old ways of life.  There's something special about standing in a spot and thinking about what went on there hundreds of years ago... even something as simple as an old farm that's been there a long time.

Maybe isn't everyone's cup of tea but it appeals to me anyway  ;D

She should have answered:

'Because our leaders joined up with England who saved us from bankruptcy after we attempted and failed to start a colony in Panama based on slavery.'

Seriously why do you think it is the best for us all ?
Both financially and how people feel

That would have been misinformation though.

Being in the Union has definitely saved us from bankruptcy during this pandemic 🇬🇧
