What would you like for Christmas?
« on: October 11, 2020, 08:01:51 pm »
You know how women are months ahead, organising things that do t need organised for ages? My wife was saying to me today that for being such a great and selfless husband and father I really deserve something nice for Christmas this year.

I don’t really need anything or want anything so struggled to come up with an answer.

Then it hit me! A PS5 please!

What would you like that you currently don’t have?

Would love a ps5 but don’t play the ps4 I have  enough to justify the price, I’ll wait till it drops in price a bit, 1st gen games are never anything special on a new console either other than looking pretty.

I’ve ma eye on a new guitar, I’ll start dropping hints shortly.

The only game that has ever been in my PS4 is FIFA.

That’s true, but if i play 5 games a week which is typical, it’s about £2 a week for year 1.

That’s true, but if i play 5 games a week which is typical, it’s about £1.36 per week for year 1 or 27p per game.

I’ve always preferred pro evo for gameplay, lack of licensing lets it down though.

I was loyal to PES for 20 years. Eventually just had enough of all the things that were wrong with it every year so switched to FIFA. It is just as flawed but does have licencing.

I honestly can't think of anything that I want, but I'm sure that'll change as Christmas draws nearer.

Coyne to apologise to LionMo for wishing death on him would be nice, but that doesn't have to wait til Christmas.

Can you post the link to where I wished death on him please.

That would be ethical

Still well over two months for you to develop the moral courage to deliver a pre-Christmas apology, Coynster.

As a matter of interest, what would you like for Christmas anyway?
