US Election Coverage
« on: November 04, 2020, 08:15:31 am »
Watching a bit of it now. It seems the BBC can’t do anything right.

Embarrassing to watch on many levels.

Saw Trump’s speech and yes, sure, he has claimed fraud and says he is going to the Supreme Court which seems a bit mad.

BBC news bulletins are shrieking about how he has made these claims “without evidence”. Perhaps he would present the evidence to the Supreme Court or in the coming days rather than in a 5 minute speech outlining his plans.

I don’t care who wins.

If Biden wins I’m happy because I don’t have to hear the media obsessing about Trump 24/7.

If Trump wins I’m happy because the media are annoyed.

It’s become clear now. Biden has won it once the postal votes in Michigan and Wisconsin are counted.

Trump knows this and seeking to delegitimise the postal votes.

He’s done though. Will be good to stop hearing the media bleating every day, even though it has been fun.

Trump is an ãrsehòle and if he wins again it says more about the American people than a thousand words will.
He appointed the Supreme Court judge before the one who died was cold in the ground as he knew he would shout fraud and contest it in the Supreme Court if he lost.
He’s an àrsehôle.

I think we are in complete agreement there.

Was hoping for a Trump win, but it looks like I'm not going to get my way.

Trump is not as daft as he makes out. People still do not grasp that. He has done amazingly well to make it as close as it is, and his plan re postal votes and the Supreme Court is Machiavellian is the extreme.

That's what separates him from other Republicans brother, he does not lie down and will fight to the bitter end.
