So, having looked at the data, I can tell the following:

The question was as per below:

INDY1. If a referendum were held tomorrow about Scotland's constitutional future, how would you vote in response to the following question:
Should Scotland be an independent country?

There was not going to be a referendum tomorrow, which renders the question obsolete, so everyone is answering a hypothetical.  There was actually a whopping 9% of undecideds and 11% of females were undecided, and as we all know the fairer sex are more likely to support the Union than men.  It was also done by phone which always under represents the shy Tory vote.

Lots of leading questions were asked before it to prime people for the 'right' answer, examples being:

• 'How convincing, or otherwise, do you find the following arguments in favour of Scottish independence?  Scotland should be independent because the UK is leaving the European Union even though Scotland voted to Remain'
• 'How convincing, or otherwise, do you find the following arguments in favour of Scottish independence?  Scotland should be independent because Westminster governments cannot be trusted to act in Scotland's interests'

It's almost as if the poll was conducted by Paul McKenna!

9% undecided is low. What were the percentages including the undecided?
