The Covering up of The National
« on: September 15, 2020, 11:28:06 am »
I've been covering up The National with another newspaper lately, unless someone gets in there before me.

I noticed the Coynster took issue with this, expressing his disgust by giving me personal abuse as well as telling me to grow up.

Now, I don't believe that two wrongs make a right, so i responded in an ethical manner.

However, i'm delighted to say that the Coynster has now given me excellent information as to where to eat and drink when I'm in Dundee next.  Very kind of him to do so.  It's clear that he has another side, which is a kind and helpful one.

So, should I respect the Coynster's wishes and stop covering up The National out of respect for him?  Or should I continue covering it up?

Apologies for the abuse, that wasn’t very nice, or ethical of me.

However, I do maintain my stance that it is an extremely childish thing to do:

No worries at all Coyne.  Apology accepted.

I see its neck and neck in the poll.  If it goes to the wire then I'll ask Peter, as board founder, to make the final call.

I will adhere to the decision of the ethical board.

I would adhere to the desicion of the poll if I get an apology from him for what he called me. Can't see it happening though but we will see what kind of man he really is

Childish and beyond stupidity

I think anyone doing this seriously needs to take a long hard look at themselves.
The rest of the press are no better with their front page misleading headlines for the most part .

Free speech is only ok when it suits these people's agenda anything that doesn't suit their way of thinking has to be hidden away .
Unbelievable get a grip lads come on.

That's a big statement, Lion.

If Coyne apologises to you and the poll goes the way of the anti-coverers, then both you and me will be forced to no longer cover up The National.

The ball is now firmly in his court!

Thing is YES supporters know exactly what the yoons do with the National we know to look for them hidden behind some paper or magazine.

We know it's a game of hide and seek .

Hiding the National behind other papers has little or no effect.
Other than the yoons getting some momentarily enjoyment off of it.
