Over his comments regarding women goalkeepers.

The problem is though, he’s right.

Agreed although up until a couple weeks ago they were probably better than Jack Hamilton

I can't understand how some players make it to the level he has. He is sunday league standard.

Was saying that to my mate. How he managed to get through the Hearts youth system and into the Scotland squad. To be fair he has been good since we signed the new keeper so credit where its due. He is always just a game away from a howler though

He has been a bit better but its squeeky bum time every time the ball goes near him.

I actually think when you look at the standards the women’s game has reached, it makes the goalkeeping that much more of an anomaly.

It is utterly bizarre to watch. Surely intensive coaching over a period of time could improve it.

A shot on target is usually a goal.

I think some women are decent enough but with the proper training can be even better .

Now if I were to train them they'd be world class .
Old training methods from the distant past can go a long way even in today's game .

What sort of crowds does the womens game get?  Pre-COVID obviously.

I'm sure it was getting quite popular a few years ago, but did this continue?

That's impressive, Buc.

Part of me worries that if it got big enough it could siphon support from the man's game long term.  In Scotland, we probably have too many clubs to sustain as it is.. do we really have enough fans to go round for games of both genders?

I'd be interested to hear Mrs Timbo's thoughts on this.
