Does anyone live near any interesting sites of historical significance?
I'm fortunate to live quite close to Dunkeld Cathedral, site of the Battle of Dunkeld.
I'm also not too far from Perth, home of the North Inch park which is also the battlefield of the Battle of the Clans. An incredibly interesting fight with some legends/myths surrounding it.
I got engaged at the Hermitage which I think is near Dunkeld.

I can relate to 'The Duke' at the 5:15 mark when he said he thinks about the battle as he walks around the North Inch. Might pop down tomorrow for a wee ponder.
There's a decent bit of history in Forfar which was once the hub of the Kingdom of the Picts. I keep meaning to get there and explore the sites.
There were a lot of witches there back in the day. Natalie Mcgarry apparently took inspiration from it when starting 'Women for Independence'
