I don't hate Coyne and I've built up decent rapport with him on the voice chat.

This is more a matter of principle for me.

How can stuff like that goes unpunished?  The rules regarding motions and votes are there for all to see, so this isn't an attacked on Peter either.

If the community votes for someone to be let off with this, then I'm afraid that is a terrible reflection on the community.  It fills me with sadness that people think it's OK.

Comrade Hardliner, can I just check a point of order? Did you set the poll to allow for people to change their votes?

I think that is standard practice. There’s just a box to click and can be done by editing if it hasn’t been done already.

Would just hate to see any procedural jiggery pokery which could land us in the messageboard courts.

I didn't set it to allow vote changes Peter.. I arranged it quite quickly and didn't think to do it.

It doesn't give me that option when I go click Edit Poll now either.  Maybe you can only do it at the start or something.
I think I found maybe I could only do it on the laptop, no sure. Ah well. 😬

Yeah I tried on the laptop mate.

It looks at the moment like some righties have voted against the party whip!

Coyne and I both voted for a ban, so I would have expected the following to have also voted yes.

Mo
AJ
Hardliner
VoR
ITB
Beardy
Ralph

That should be 9 votes but thus far only 5.

Oh my.

Coyne remains.

I strongly suspect that the Yes voters were as follows:

Me
Mo
AJ
Peter
ITB

That’s that then, the boards has spoken.

We will hear no more about this.

It cannot go unpunished. Anyone on here imagine someone saying these vile comments over and over about their mother.

They should have had the numbers today but now I can guess who’s going to get the blame. 😔

Beyond question that the righties have voted this way to continue the aggro.

Disappointing to see the righties rig the vote so they can keep this going.

The last thing they want is a harmonious board.

This is a very sad day for the board.

Ethics have gone out the window completely.

I agree.

Incredible bad faith by several of the voters.

I certainly think this is what has happened here. They will now slope off sheepishly, not knowing whether they are going for a shite or a haircut.

Should be peaceful on here tonight now.

Retreat, retreat and retreat to AJs board.

Buc will get peace now, which is great 👍

Perhaps the next time instead of a vote we could just do rock, paper, scissors. Although not sure how that would work. Maybe there's an app or something we could get.
