The fact that you can't separate the Scotland national team from people who support independence. Not really sure what was difficult to grasp there.

I can't? What about the dafties with yes 45 on the back of their Scotland tops or indy 2 ?
Saltires with yes on them or sore elbow?
They are the type that I was on about.

There are Dundee fans that bring Union Jacks to games with Dundee FC on it but it doesn't make me want to not support Dundee. I know a couple Rangers fans that are very Pro Indy but doesn't stop them going to Ibrox. I will bet there are loads of Scotland fans watching at home or that would be inside Hampden or travelling that are pro Union. It is all about tolerating or accepting folk have different views

I have not seen a UJ with Dundee on it for as long as I can remember. There is no comparison between that and what I said though. There is nothing wrong with a UJ with Dundee on it or a saltire with Dundee on it. That is non political. Dundee is in Scotland which is in the UK.
My best mate is a tim but a unionist and that does not stop him going to the begging bowl.He is also a massive Scotland fan. Again different to what I am saying.
I would not want to see a saltire with no 55 on it or a Scotland top with no 55 on the back of it. That is political and should be kept out of football.
No one should have to look at political statements at the football. It has nothing to do about accepting or tolerating different views. It is sport, not politics.
