Plans for the weekend, gentlemen?
« on: October 30, 2020, 08:17:17 am »
I'll be trying my best to catch up with some sleep as well as prepare myself for Tuesday night's shenanigans.

Will also go shopping for stair gates and a baby-proof fire guard.. it's getting to that point.  As well as that, I'm hoping to squeeze in an Autumn walk but it depends on the weather.  Walks are never fun without the right conditions.

Keeping up the running is a priority though, and I will be following my running trainer's advice on how to proceed over the weekend in that respect.

Church on Sunday morning.  The wife also has a friend from California and we've only just discovered that she is a serious Trump supporter.  We've been invited to an online prayer meeting on Sunday evening, to pray for a good outcome in the Presidential election whether it means him being elected or not.  I'm looking forward to taking part!

Quiet, thanks to the pubs and restaurants being closed. I've got a new television coming tomorrow morning so I'll set them up and watch the golf and the football with a few beers. Mrs AJ is working.

Drinking and watching Sport and also the Dundee game

She is working in Aberdeen all weekend and staying up there so says she will leave sweets so her sister, niece and nephew can come along to guise. Thinking about reporting them so I get peace. They are 3 and 5 but they need to learn a harsh lesson. A night in the cells and a hefty fine will hopefully do that

Ellon, I think that post might draw Ralph onto this thread.

I’ve got my daughter tonight, pick her up from nursery at 5pm.

Will take her back to her Mum at lunchtime tomorrow, then my Dad and two brothers are coming to mine to watch the Mighty Dee and have a few beers.

Sunday I think I will rise early and make a pot of chilli and put spaghetti bolognese in the slow cooker, then I can freeze 5 or 6 batches.

Then sit on my hoop drinking beer and wine and watching all the football.
I post, the dafties always dive right in!

Off on Sunday so will do some shopping for my folks and see if they need anything else done.

I fear we’ll only see fleeting appearances from Ralph.

He’s in a huff because I edited out one word he posted, replacing it with stars, because it was criminal hate speech.

The only time an admin button has ever been used here and even then I didn’t make anything of it but he is fuming.

Criminal hate speech?
Not what I saw.
Just an uneducated fückwit posting something that spoke volumes for him.
By deleting it you’ve let him off the hook with fellow posters who would make that judgement.
