This is 100% correct, 99.99% don't even care about anything to do with England.
If anything especially when it comes to football and sport in general there's inferiority complex that England are so much better than us. Too much respect is shown. You could say that we think anyone outside of Scotland can do a better job than us.
That is a true modern Scottish trait, we lack confidence in ourselves and believe that others do things better than us, no more so than our neighbours.
