A genius with a football but you could see he didn't look after himself. The drugs and partying finally caught up with him.

Very sad of that passing one of the greatest ever to play the game .

He had a hard upbringing and was very poor .

When he first got a football he took it to bed with him and put it under his jersey so no one could steel it .

Watching some of his play yesterday and he was truly one of a kind. The combination of the ultimate technique and ultimate intensity has never been seen again.

Messi does not match the intensity.
Ronaldo, although better than Messi overall, doesn’t match Maradona’a technique.
