Well, what do we think happened to her?

There are a helluva lot of theories out there.

**** knows, there’s arguments for and against  the parents knowing more, what they did was unforgivable imo in leaving the bairns though. If they’d been from a council estate on a holiday at butlins the press coverage would’ve been completely different, they would’ve been hung out to dry.

Regardless a poor wee lassie more than likely ended up dead needlessly.

Absolutely, and the lack of shame really gets to me, especially from Gerry.

My gut feeling is that they know a lot more indeed.

I don’t honestly believe they know any more than they are letting on. There were too many other adults around and they would not be able to keep their stories straight.

What they did was really stupid but they price they have paid for that stupidity is incredibly high.

From what I remember, there were some discrepancies between versions of events.

My natural instinct is to feel sorry for anyone who makes an error of judgement, no matter how huge, but I just think there's more to this than meets the eye.  There's just so much stuff out there that paints them in a bad light, although I do realise that it's easy to be caught up in these things.

I don’t think they know anymore.

Yes they made a really bad decision, but I also feel heart sorry for them for losing their daughter and not knowing what has happened.

Must be horrendous to live with that.

Agree with that Coyne .
Living with it must be a daily nightmare hopefully we will get to know what really happened to the bairn .

My aunt lost her 2 year old son at Aberdeen beach back in the 60s whilst my mum and my aunty were drinking an older girl about 10 was looking after him but he drowned .
Now my aunty suffered and still is suffering today after all them years ago.
My sister was there she was about 5 at the time and she remembers it.

A lifetime of suffering for what.
