I've done a few marches enough to see the force for good are way out with their figures .
Secondly I've never seen them count marches and believe me I checked that with the Glasgow march in January.
I've seen pittodrie with 15.000 fans in the stadium when fans start leaving with 10 mins to go which will leave 11000 and the disperse after 5 mins .
That Glasgow march was the biggest yet by miles.
Force for good even suggested the marches were going past the end and doubling back again to make the numbers appear much more.
After that I stopped taking their 30-50 UJ flag savers seriously.
But the lad that organises it is a very nice lad .
After the Aberdeen independence march I saw him cross the road to the train station I said to him I admire his passion and shook his hand he replied to me and said the same.
Seemed an all round good guy.
I kindly refer you to the below link which includes a video of the whole march as well as a description of the counting methodology.
https://www.aforceforgood.uk/single-post/2020/01/11/Unionists-Stand-Up-to-SNP-Glasgow-MarchI've been on plenty marches too, albeit a completely different type, and you don't get much of an idea of the scale when you're in it yourself.
Good to hear you like Alistair! He's a nice guy.

Do you enjoy living here in these times ?
Do you not think the country is an unhappier place since the Scottish nationalists did not accept the result of the referendum in 2014 ?
Would you move away if the unthinkable happened ?
My answers are that I am not that happy here now. It is a lot unhappier place to live since 2014. And I would be away like a shot if that happened.
So very sad what these people have done to our country 🙁
Yet you seem hell bent on creating divide and picking sides instead of just tolerating other peoples choice and getting in with your life
I have not created any divide, it is people like Buc that continues to. People like him have not accepted the result of a democratic referendum we had. Go and tell him to stop creating divides
I am a big fan of division. It’s a sign of a free and healthy society. Like bats are an indicator of a strong ecosystem.
Division is not good, especially the division in Scotland. It has ruined the country
Division is fantastic.
Division breaks up families, friends etc.

Back in the 60s political views in families caused division when SNP held their conferences in village halls they weren't even discussed.
It was a torie labour and even communist thing .

My thoughts exactly on the 2014 independence referendum result.😎

And that’s the way it’s been. We stayed part of the UK and I just had to lump it. Somewhat different from what was promised though. Lead not leave. Vote no to guarantee your place on the EU.
If only you guys hadn’t reverted to type as soon as the vote was in, you wouldn’t be staring down the barrel of independence now.
When it happens, Yoons will only have themselves to blame. And it’s too late to change course.

There was never a guarantee about voting No guaranteeing membership of the EU long term, which would have been impossible because there was an EU referendum on the horizon which everybody knew about.
The promise was in the context of Separation dragging us out of the EU, which would have happened had the Yes vote won.
Whilst staring down the barrel of independence is a fitting metaphor, it isn't really the case just now. There's no chance of independence happening any time soon, and there's plenty of reasons to doubt the recent polls and to think that they'll change anyway.
A referendum will take place in spring of 2022 and independence will commence sometime in 2023.
