What a player he has turned into. Celtic must be kicking themselves that they never spent that little extra.

Could play for most teams down south on that form

And now he is partnered with Barkley as well as Grealish. Should achieve quite a bit in the game. Keeps working and improving as well.

I would have liked to have seen him at Celtic but he wouldn’t be the player he is now if he came to us. Would have stagnated a bit.

That is true. From a Celtic point of view he could have been a stalwart in their side similar to Brown but obviously from a Scotland point of view he has thrived down south. We have some really good players just now but some glaring weaknesses as well. I think Clarke knows this and has made us very hard to beat without really utilising all his avaliable tools as such

I think there’s a good chance he will be at Man Utd next season, partnered with Fernandes and possibly Ruben Neves.

There was talk before. You have to be thinking a very minimum of £30million in todays market particularly with Villa doing so well
