And there is much the unionists could have done in the last 10 years which would mean this was not now a live issue.

They could honoured the promises they made in the run up to the referendum.
They could have not voted for Brexit.
They could have allowed a bespoke Brexit deal for Scotland.
They could have not elected Boris Johnson.
They could have chosen not to treat Scotland’s MPs with complete contempt.
They could have chosen not to chuckle away in the Commons at Scots being shipped off as slaves.
They could have chosen not to have a “hostile environment” for incomers
They could have chosen not to create the Windrush scandal
They could have chosen not to decrease disability benefit
They could have chosen not to create the bedroom tax
They could have chosen not to create the **** clause

The list could go on and on. But unionists, if they are unhappy with the current landscape and outlook, they need to look to themselves and take responsibility. People have had enough. It’s a mess of your own making.
People should be very careful what they wish for. We are very lucky to have what we do. I do not get people have had enough. Enough of what ? What do people actually want. And the only mess I see has been caused by the snp snd the scottish nationalists who love their grievances 🤷‍♂️

You honestly can’t understand that a lot of people don’t like the kinds of things listed above?

People look at that pile of crap and compare it to the living standards in other similar sized independent countries. People have ambition and aspiration. They want a better life for themselves and their children. It’s human nature, at a very base level.

That unionists can’t understand that, and expect people to just be thankful for what they have, is their undoing.

I could post you a pile of crap brought upon us by the snp. We have a very good standard of living that I'm pretty sure would be a lot worse if independence happened and the austerity thst would come with it.. You can have as much ambition and aspiration you want just now.
I can't understand why people would put our childrens future at risk for a pipe dream. I find it incredible. If the nationalists had accepted they lost a once in a generation vote and got on with things Scotland would be a much happier place imo. My personal experiences are I've fallen out with a good friend, my brother in law, a workmate, the season ticket holders at Dens that I sat beside for years, guys I went to Scotland matches with for years etc... It is horrible. I despise the snp and the thought of independence gives me the fear. Ths country would be unbearable to live in if the unthinkable happened. It is bad enough just now at times. As I said mate we will never ever agree or see eye to eye on this subject. That is what the nationalists have done to our country 🙁

I’m quite happy to disagree. It is rarely independence supporters who get upset about it in my experience.

A better standard of living through control of our own economy and government which puts Scotland’s interests first isn’t a pipe dream. You can ignore New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, Norway and Switzerland but the majority of people here want something better for their children and aren’t happy with Westminster’s dealings in Scotland.

It’s just normal for countries to be independent sovereign states.

And meanwhile Sturgeon keeps getting the begging bowl out to WM. We would have been truely **** if we had been independent, crisis or no crisis, imo of course.
Every country which has ever become independent from the UK has been they couldn’t cope financially. Not one has ever sought a return to Westminster control of their economies.
We would have austerity for a long, long time if we became independent. Voting to make us so much poorer is absolutely ridiculous for a pipe dream imo. It is gettibg so boring now, why cannot people just accept that we voted no and get on with our lifes. Have another vote in 20-30 years time. It is totally ruining livibg here imo. I really hate it 🙁 It makes me very sad 🙁

Come doon to England then - the land of Milk and Honey.... ;D

I used to get upset and angry mate, not now (Deemo has gone) I just find it incredibly sad and very frustrating 🙁
Something better? I don't think so, I think it will be a hellava lot worse. We spend 15 billion more than we take in taxes. That is a lot of money. No way things would be better imo. Anyway, round and round we go 🙂

Not at all. My ex mate fell out with all of our group, my brother in law is a twat, even his sister and brother thinks so. I didnt fall out with the guys I went to the Scotland games with I just stopped going as I did not like 45 yes on the back of sone of their tops. The worst was my fellow Dees. I got abuse from all sides of where I had sat for years as I told them I voted no. It was disgusting. I do not have a problem with anyone but sadly in my experience most of the independence supporters I have met are pretty abusive and nasty. There is good and bad in all walks of life so maybe Ive been unlucky 🤷‍♂️🙂
