By far my favourite statue or sculpture is Michaelangelo’s The Pietà in St Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican. It is also the most impressive and majestic building I have ever been in.

Ah that's an amazing post I've seen that too .

I hoped to see Papa whilst I was there .
And you bang on and on and on and on about Tories and child abuse? It's no wonder folk have stopped taking you seriously.
Does he?!?!
Yes.
Strange. I have never noticed this. Can you provide one example?
Loads on The Junkie's board. He won't deny it.
I doubt he bangs on and on about it. I can’t think of it happening once, even if it has been mentioned on Faniel’s board.
He does. And he won't deny it, no matter how many times you say he doesn't.

Mentioned it 4 or 5 times over the years on Danny's board not as much as they band on about king Alex Salmond.

Proven innocent of all charges .
That is simply a lie. We'll leave it there.

Sorry if you think I'm lying if so please rectify me . I don't mind being rectifed and I'm not a liar AJ you should know that by now.

If you're saying you've only mentioned this supposed Westminster paedophile ring 4 or 5  times down the years then I'm sorry, but it's a lie.

Well I apologise for the misrepresentation of the facts could well be much more it's something I don't keep track of .
I'm happy to be pointed in the right direction of my calculation.

How many times do you think I've mentioned this ?

I have added my favourite statue at the top of our board, to represent this ethical community. Is there a more fitting emblem for the freedom we have here?

Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

This interesting statue is situated in the centre of Banbridge, Northern Ireland - the town my wife is from.

It is of Francis Crozier, a Banbridge native and Royal Navy Captain who participated in no less than 6 expeditions to the Antarctic and Artic.

The eleventh of thirteen children, he was the son of a solicitor and his house (Avonmore House) still stands.  Crozier was also a fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society.  On one fateful expedition, his two ships disappeared without a trace and no one knew what happened to him and his crew until 170 years later in 2014 when it was discovered that the ships had been stuck in ice and Crozier and crew had become victims to the hostile environment.
