FAO Buc and our Indy bloc
« on: December 07, 2020, 10:48:03 am »
Buc, I’m now in touch with the head of the new Yes campaign and will be looking to be very involved from the get go.

I understand that YesAlba is just a project title but hopefully that will be changed tonight.

I think I read right that you were in touch with them too. Think it’s Jan before people can formally join.

Can’t wait to get stuck into the campaign. You take the North East and I’ll handle things down here in Nationalist Easy Ayrshire. 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Independent Scotland welcome in EU.

AN MEP has said it’s a “definite yes” that an independent Scotland would be welcomed back into the EU – and he’s also suggested Nicola Sturgeon could be president of the European Commission.

Speaking as negotiations between
London and Brussels over a post-Brexit trade deal reached crunch point, Philippe Lamberts, a Belgian MEP and co-president of the Greens in the European Parliament told the Express: “There would be no obstacle for Scotland joining if the UK is no longer in the EU. And this time independence would be different, because in 2014 Scotland would have left the UK and the EU at once.

“I can imagine Nicola Sturgeon being president of the European Commission, she seems to be much closer to the centre of gravity of European politics than Boris Johnson is.”

Asked on whether an independent Scotland could join the EU, Lamberts said: “Yes, the answer is a definite yes.”

Great to see the EU now sticking the boot into the UK Government, which it now owes nothing to.

YES it's all go mate loads of folk from ALL backgrounds getting it all on the go .

And indeed someone big from the 2014 no camp.  Being kept under wraps if I find out who I will let you know by PM .

The whole network is buzzing .

I'm getting involved both financially and outdoor leaflet posting.

Remember we had up to 100.000 YES campaigners all over Scotland working their buts off that's why we got from 27% to taking the lead the no campaign then panicked that wasn't supposed to happen .
The no never matched our passion maybe because they had the backing of all the unionist press.
They only had one table in Aberdeen outside M&S whilst the YES movement had .
Quiens for indi .. CND for indi SNP for indi ..socialists for indi ..Labour for indi .. AYE Aberdeen we had all seperate tables
The no table had the Tories sharing with labour and liberals about 8 of them.
The no campaign had to bring up people from over the border because they didn't have enough people a bit like BBC question time then .

Do I knock on doors campaigning ?
Do I buy a political newspaper ?
Am I a cult member ?
Have I been brainwashed ?

Then ask these questions about yourself.

Now who is obsessed ,?
