• In Texas and Louisiana. The words the forecasters are using are things like “unsurvivable”. Expecting 15-20ft water surges going as far as 30miles I’m from the coast.

  Lots on twitter. The town of Lake Charles, about the size of East Kilbride is being smashed to pieces. It’s about 30 miles inland.
  
  People who didn’t evacuate are calling for help but the emergency services cannot enter the area. The mayor warned them “don’t phone 911” because nobody will be coming.
