...of COVID infections in Glasgow, why isn’t it in lockdown?

117 in the last 7 days, the highest in Scotland.

Those lambasting Boris was for lifting lockdown too early must now surely demand Sturgeon puts us back into lockdown?

Maybe we'll have white boiler suit clad guys telling Glaswegians not to cross the Glasgow borders and bring their virus to outlying areas?

It’s not Glasgow. It’s Greater Glasgow and Clyde. 117 isn’t a lot for that population area and positive tests remain below 1%.

Wife's seen the damage Covid can do and in some cases long lasting effects of respiratory problems.

Sue isn't going to bars or even going out for a meal as she says it's still out there waiting for somewhere to attach itself to.

I know most get over it after contrącting it .

But people are getting edgy and are now becoming complacent.

There we will have a problem .

Its a tough one Buc. I'm worried about my elderly parents catching it. My dad was a kid in the war in London for a while and has the attitude that the Germans didn't get him and neither will this. It scares the **** out of me.
On the other hand the economy is **** and people want to get on with life.
Seeing what your better half has would probably change anyones view on it.

Indeed the economy has to come into it now .
It's a balancing act government's will have tough decisions to make and people will die from catching Covid because the economy has to move into gear I suppose damage limitations.

When that happens opposing parties will blame the government's around the world for these deaths .

It's a no win situation with whatever they decide to do.

Vaccine is the answer .
I've put myself up as a trial .

Good for you Buc.
On the economy, how many people will die with losing their jobs therefore having no money, depression etc. Its a balancing act

yes my daughter has OCD and she's been through hell because of this virus she can't even go to work at her school she's that bad and that's very worrying for us .

We are looking after her for now as we don't want anymore problems going around in her mind .

But to be fair she seems to be dealing with it a bit better .
