It's fitting to see Timsley currently leading the poll given the term was first coined within our circles to describe him.
I'll take whatever award I get in good heart. Getting wound up about whoever wins a poll on the internet tends to stay with you in my view  ;)

So I see you are all coming back with your tail between your legs after failing to get the public apology from Peter :)

I'm the same, RDN.  It's all for the bantz.

In the spirit of rapprochement we get the poll for this going and stickied, Hardliner.

Thanks for the offer but it has to be kept where it is.  Some who have already voted don't post here.

Awards season has really brought the AG board alive!

As requested, please see below for the latest polling with regards to WBOTY and of course WOTY.

The polls were created when the Righties weren't posting, hence their exclusion.

The driver behind creating a WOTY poll was a noticeable spike in weird posts, especially one regarding a woman in her 80's doing something that I'd rather not repeat.

New members to the board have been reading posts on here to get an idea of what they're voting for.  It's possible we might have additional votes between now and 31st December, as well as votes changing depending on poster behaviour.

I fear winning the double may be a hurdle too many.

It'll be interesting to see how it pans out.  One poster was even described as a 'Saturated Blanket' rather than just Wet.

Votes took place with regards to requests from two additional unregistered posters to be allowed to vote, but after an anonymous committee vote they were turned down.  There was much debate before the vote, even with talk of caveats if certain things were apologised for or posts taken back etc the the final votes were not unanimous.

I won't embarrass the requesters and say who they were.  It wouldn't be ethical.

This board stopped being ethical a week or so ago.

Somebody registering as "VoiceofReason" with a Dundee IP address almost had us fooled. 😂

I do hope there aren’t any screenshots of those debates kicking around. 🙂
