Tomorrow, the polls open for the famous Wet Blanket Of The Year Award.

The events of The Disruption of 21st November and the subsequent lack of apology have lead us to unenviable position where POTY and ROTY voting will take place in an echo chamber without the drama they could have otherwise produced.  It's highly likely that those topping the ROTY poll won't even be posting at the time, taking the sting out of the event.

For that reason, the Mighty Righties have decided to hold our very own WBOTY poll.  This will take place throughout the month of December, with the winner being announced on Hogmanay, probably around lunchtime.  This will allow everybody to know the result well in advance of the bells and be able to toast the 'winner'.  Everyone taking part will be given 2 votes and these votes can be changed as many times as one wants.

If anybody would like to join in the fun, then feel free to send me a PM and our panel will assess your application.

Polling will take place on The Ethical Board (Continuing).

You were saying before that you're able to view posts, so you'll be able to see how the assessment goes and whether your vote is counted or not.

To answer your point, we go by democracy, but it may be felt by the panel that we should only grant democracy to those who do the same.  Anyway, you'll be able to see how discussions go.
