I did like the comment "he was walking about in the old knife crime capital of Europe shining torches and sticking cameras in folks faces and nobody even bothered doing anything" "how times have changed" :)

To be honest I've not seen enough of the videos to form an opinion on his motives if any but I did see clips where he totally fabricated stuff being said, things being thrown at him or general grief he was supposedly getting. He walked past a group about 3 times hoping they would say something "because they all hate me around here" and nobody even bothered their arse with him. He was going in and out peoples doorways and speaking into a camera then claiming folk were staring at him and trying to intimidate him. No wonder

I think it is important not to be drawn in by these types as it shows weakness and we should be able to show disgust at any child trafficking in these areas without being weak minded and hanging on every word of some guy with a camera phone

Hopefully the truths within his videos are investigated and any people involved are dealt with harshly. Last thing we need is a Scottish Tommy Robinson lining his pockets from weak minded vulnerable types who turn these things into a race issue

I like to think most on her are made of stronger stuff

I think the point I am making is be wary of folk who are targeting certain minorities or groups as often it will be a personal issue or to benefit themselves. It seemed to be "Roma" with this guy and although there might be an element of truth in what he says it is important to not allow one guys prejudice influence yourself. Plenty folk on both sides of the argument who stay in Govanhill have weighed in on the debate I've noticed

It is Roma folk doing it though.  It's the same with Tommy Robinson, he always makes it clear that the grooming gangs are a Muslim problem although not all Muslims, but folk just ignore it and say he's attacking Muslims.

Cairnie even made the point that it's not all Roma folk, and that plenty Roma have been complaining to him about the situation.  He even mentioned that their actions wouldn't be possible without the cooperation of other ethnicities including whites.

I hope you've not been taken in by the media nonsense, Fremsley.  I know you're made of stronger stuff like that.
Not at all. I'll always form my own opinion and not because someone is trying to influence me for their own gains. You said people will call him racist. What I will say is let's see how he is now he has got a platform. Let's see where his videos take him and the subject matters in hand. I'd hope he is doing it for the right reasons, exposing things like poverty, drug deaths as well as gangs, child trafficking and apparent no go areas

I haven't read any news report on his videos and take my opinions from clips, comments etc on social media from people who live there and from both sides of the debate.  I'll reserve full judgement until I see his next few videos as we now there will be plenty

Fair play mate.  Apologies if I came across as patronising or snarky, but I just see people placing such importance on alleged racism rather than the subject at hand on a regular basis.

My opinion is that his videos won't last long before cancel culture gets a hold of him.  We'll have a concerted effort to get him branded racist or conspiratorial and very trivial things in his past will be dragged up to paint him in a bad light.

Anyway, where are the clips you saw which showed him fabricating stuff?
