I don't get too worked up about education as I think it is what the pupil makes it, but this doesn't change that the SNP have messed up majorly with this, especially when they used to make such a song and dance about it.

It's at times like this where the cult mentality kicks in for many Nats (not all I must say, but a huge proportion).  Instead of looking at the pandemic figures with an open mind and thinking 'Nicola is having an absolute shocker', they'll automatically look for reasons why it can't be her fault.  Compare and contrast this with their attitudes towards Boris and his supposedly dreadful handling of the situation.
