It's a great quote Buc, something the clubs often forget in my opinion.

Clubs, staff and players should always feel a sense of gratitude towards the support who pay their wages IMO.  I hate to see fans priced out of the game.  Ticket prices, strip prices, membership schemes you need to join to pay to join to get tickets etc..  they are either too expensive or shouldn't exist.

Clubs, IMO, need to make a decision as to what they really are.

Are clubs simply commercial outfits designed to sell units, make money and win trophies?

Or does each club have a unique identity with a responsibility to it's supporters who'll often have a family history of supporting that club going back generations?

I go primarily for the latter and believe that focusing on that will make the first happen as a byproduct.
