General Discussion / Re: Child Poverty and the Daily Record
« on: November 26, 2020, 03:22:00 pm »

I can’t help but doubt the sincerity. The truth is that Scotland significantly outperforms all other parts of the UK on the issue of child poverty and this coincides not only with devolution but with the SNP in power. 18/19% in Scotland compared to figures more like 24% in England and Wales.

But according to record it is a stain on Scotland exclusively.

Instead we should be looking to see what is working and how to build on it. Next target should be to follow New Zealand’s example and get it to 15%.
If you're hoping to win independence and govern a country then sometimes you have to write in joint up writing. Saying aye but we're not as bad as England only cuts it for so long. Very little of what you posted has any relevance to the headline.

Seems she got universally beloved Eamonn Holmes sacked from This Morning. 😢
WTF's happened on here? No quite the same when there's no opposition Pete.

I was mascot myself in 1988. European Cup tie. Big crowd. It was absolutely amazing.

Leading the team out at the old Celtic Park on a European night. We won.

If anyone wants to do some sleuthing to find out who I am they can go right ahead. I do not give a ****.

I even put my own name on that old board via the Super 6 but was then advised about Danny’s stabby stabby threats etc.

If anyone at any time wants to find me and take issue with my posts they are very welcome. One cannot live in fear and if you don’t do anything wrong then you can walk the path of ethical righteousness with your head held high.
Did you get shagged in the dressing room before the game? Celtic was rife with Kiddie fiddlers around that time.
No pal, not that I recall.
You must be the only who didn't, you must be a right ugly bastard.

He hates devolution. Unguarded comments to Tory MPs being widely reported. Zoom call with 60 Tory MPs earlier this evening.

Won’t go down well in Scotland where 74% voted for devolution, nor indeed will it go down well in Wales.

Douglas Ross scrambling, media making quite a thing of it and rightly so. The Prime Minister of the UK attacking not independence, but devolution itself.

Oh dear! 😎😎😎
You got a link to where he says he hates devolution? Cheers in advance.
I was paraphrasing. Wait for the morning papers; you’ll have all links you can chew on. 😎

So in essence, you lied.
At least we all know now.
I have never lied on the internet. Pity you can’t say the same, Noah.
You found a link yet Peter?

So you made it up then, thanks for clearing that up.
Yes Ralph, no incident took place. There there, back to your Lego.
You quoted Boris as saying he hates devolution and I merely asked you to post a link showing us where. If he didn't actually say that then just say so and we'll know you made it up, no harm done.
I didn’t quote Boris. Try again! 😎

I’m glad you are no longer lying and denying being you Ralph. Was sad to see you do that for fear of displeasing Danny. You are a grown man, at the end of the day, kind of.
You've made a right mess of this one Pete. Quick delete the thread before morning and nobody will know you posted it.
Yes, maybe I’ll delete the morning papers for you as well Ralph. There there. 😀
Pete it's really simple to prove your point, just post a link that shows where Boris said he hates devolution. It really is that simple. If you can't then just say so.

Dinny let Pete kid you on about the upbringing and disciplining of his Bairns, that parental role is left to others, mainly the state.
